Ben Salman Saudi Arabia will not allow its airspace to be used against Iran

Khaberni  - Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that the kingdom will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any action against Iran, while Iranian President Masoud Bazeshkian welcomed any path that leads to peace and prevents war.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that Prince Mohammed bin Salman confirmed in a phone call with Bazeshkian the kingdom's stance of respecting Iran's sovereignty, and reiterated that the kingdom will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any action against Iran.

The Saudi Crown Prince emphasized supporting efforts to resolve disputes through dialogue, which enhances security and stability in the region.

In contrast, the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) quoted Bazeshkian saying that Iran is always ready, within the framework of international laws and while fully maintaining its rights, to welcome any path that leads to peace, calm, and the prevention of conflict and war.

Bazeshkian said that Washington and Israel supported the protesters in Iran, asserting that "Washington's threats aim to destabilize security in the region, and negotiations from the American perspective mean implementing what they demand, which is not considered negotiations."

"We were negotiating with the Americans when they attacked us militarily in front of the eyes of all the people of the world, and we reached an agreement and understanding in interacting with the European countries,” he explained, noting that the Americans were the ones who breached it and did not adhere to it.

Last Saturday, American media reported that the aircraft carrier Lincoln and three accompanying destroyers arrived on Friday in the Indian Ocean, en route to the Central Command operations area in the Gulf of Oman amidst the American threat to Iran.

In late December 2025, protests broke out in Iran and lasted about two weeks, against the backdrop of a sharp decline in the value of the local currency and the worsening economic crisis, starting in the capital Tehran before spreading to several cities, at a time when President Bazeshkian acknowledged the public discontent and vowed to work on improving the situation.

These developments coincide with American indications of carrying out a military attack against the regime in Iran, which considers that Washington, through sanctions and pressures and inciting disturbances, seeks to provide a pretext for foreign intervention and a regime change.

In June 2025, Israel, with American support, waged a 12-day war against Iran, which Tehran responded to, before the United States announced a ceasefire.
