After Rejecting UAE Citizenship AlAzaizeh Moves to Saudi Roshan League

Khaberni – Just days after rejecting a substantial professional Emirati offer that included naturalization, Ali Al-Azaizeh, the Jordan U-23 national team striker and professional at Kazma SC, received an offer from Al-Shabab Club, a member of the Roshan League, to avail of his services for the upcoming period.

Al-Azaizeh has notably emerged in the past few weeks, particularly during his representation of the Jordan U-23 national team at the Asian Youth Cup held in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Azaizeh is considered one of the prominent strikers of the tournament, having demonstrated his scoring abilities and was crowned the top scorer of the Asian Youth Cup, scoring four goals.

A Saudi newspaper revealed on Tuesday that Ali Al-Azaizeh, a player for the Jordan national team and who plays as a right winger, is close to joining Al-Shabab Saudi Club.

Al-Shabab Club is seeking to sign Al-Azaizeh on loan until the end of the current season, with an option to purchase his contract should Kazma SC agree.

Kazma SC might agree to loan Al-Azaizeh, especially as it is open to negotiations regarding its players, having previously enabled Al-Wihdat Club to regain its player Anas Al-Awadat from the Kuwaiti club, and Al-Hussein Irbid was successful in securing the services of Yousef Abu Al-Jazar.

Alongside Al-Azaizeh, Kazma SC currently hosts three Jordanian players, including Anas Al-Awadat and Yousef Abu Al-Jazar, with all their contracts extending for two and a half seasons.

Al-Azaizeh (22 years old) had previously represented the Jordan senior national team, having been called up by the technical director Jamal Salami on several occasions, but he did not participate in the 2025 Arab Cup before Kazma SC agreed to his participation with the U-23 team in the Asian Youth Cup.

During the tournament, Al-Azaizeh managed to capture the spotlight after leading his national team to the second round by scoring four goals, including two against Saudi Arabia, one against Kyrgyzstan, and one in the second round against Japan.
