Khaberni - Al-Wehdat Club officially concluded its agreement with Al-Ahli Club this Tuesday on buying the contract of the player Abdullah Awad, son of Al-Faisaly's legend Khaled Awad.
Awad will join Al-Wehdat’s team for a season and a half.
The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday at Al-Ahli Club headquarters.
It is noteworthy that Abdullah Awad had previously represented also the clubs Al-Salt and Al-Faisaly.
Abdullah is the son of Al-Faisaly’s legend and former Jordanian football star, the late Khaled Awad, who is considered one of the brightest stars of Jordanian football during the 1980s and 1990s. He led the national team to many achievements through his decisive goals and also led Al-Faisaly team to win many championships at various levels.
After retiring from playing, Awad turned to coaching and earned the title of Asian Lecturer from the Asian Football Confederation. He also supervised the training of many local teams, notably Al-Faisaly, before he was recruited by the football federation to benefit from his experience.
