Many young men and women across various provinces suffer from unemployment, as unemployment rates are continuously rising, many youths cannot find jobs even long after completing their educational journeys. Therefore, it is essential to assess the risk of this phenomenon that causes many social and even health problems, and it goes further to involve drug and alcohol abuse, which has led to the loss of many lives, as evident in numerous cases seen in courts based on drug use.
The solution to this problem lies in attracting investments to the provinces of the kingdom and encouraging the private sector, which is the key to solving this issue. Additionally, replacing foreign labor with nationals, especially in the industrial sector which is a pillar of the kingdom's economy, including establishing new factories that operate 24/7 in three shifts, could ensure the creation of many jobs for both young men and women in the provinces. Supporting and training the youth under government sponsorship to build their entrepreneurial projects, such as entering the field of agriculture, especially sustainable agriculture, contributes significantly to achieving sustainable economic development, which has become a necessary demand. Furthermore, the role of the Ministry of Digital Economy comes into play by creating an e-commerce platform directly under its supervision. E-commerce has become very flourishing nowadays, and these commercial platforms play a significant role in achieving a monthly income that meets the needs and desires of individuals who market their products online through these platforms, opening opportunities for them to display and market their products locally and internationally, especially as many individuals are turning to online shopping and the number of licensed delivery companies is increasing.
