Jordan Meteorological Department determines the timing of the upcoming atmospheric depression and its strength

Khaberni -  The Meteorological Department issued its publication about the expected weather conditions in the Kingdom over the next three days, indicating relatively cold weather this Tuesday, followed by a noticeable drop in temperatures and rain showers which may sometimes be heavy, especially on Wednesday.

The Meteorological Department said that the weather this Tuesday will be relatively cold during the day in most areas, and slightly warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some medium and high clouds appearing, while the winds will be moderate southwesterly.

During the night, the weather will be cold in most areas, with a chance of light rain in the late night hours in the north of the Kingdom, and the winds will be moderate westerly.

On Wednesday, there will be a noticeable drop in temperatures, and the weather will be cold in most areas, with clouds increasing at different altitudes, and gradual rain showers in the north of the Kingdom extending later to the central and eastern regions, and may be heavy for short periods in parts of the north and center, accompanied by thunder and hail.
In the evening hours, rain showers are expected in some southwestern regions, while precipitations weaken at night, and the winds will be active westerly, stirring dust, especially in desert areas, leading to reduced horizontal visibility.

The Meteorological Department warns of:

Reduced horizontal visibility in desert areas due to raised dust.

Reduced visibility at night due to fog formation over mountainous elevations.

The risk of slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.

Regarding Thursday, the weather during the day will be cold and partly cloudy, and pleasantly warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with a remaining chance of light and scattered rain in the morning in the north and central Kingdom, and the winds will be moderate southwesterly, occasionally active in the east of the Kingdom.
