Khaberni - US President Donald Trump said on Monday that the United States has a huge fleet near Iran, larger than that near Venezuela, according to the "Axios" website.
Trump added that diplomacy is still an option, noting that Iran has repeatedly tried to speak with him.
He explained that the situation with Iran is "constantly changing" because he sent a "large fleet" to the region, but he believes that Tehran actually wants to reach an agreement.
Informed sources stated that Trump has not made a final decision yet, but it is likely that he will hold more consultations this week, and he will be presented with more military options.
These options will be augmented by the arrival of a strike carrier group to the area. The aircraft carrier "USS Abraham Lincoln" and its strike group entered the Middle East.
US officials told "Axios" that any agreement must include the removal of all enriched uranium from Iran, setting a cap on their stockpile of long-range missiles, changing their policy in supporting proxies in the region, and banning independent uranium enrichment within the country.
An American official said earlier that the United States is "ready to cooperate" if Iran wishes to communicate with Washington.
The official added in response to a question about the conditions that Iran must meet to conduct such a dialogue, "I think they know the conditions."
