Gold prices register a new record level in Jordan

Khaberni - Gold prices in the local market recorded a new record level on Monday, according to the General Union of Owners of Jewelry Trade and Crafting Shops.

According to the daily pricing, the selling price of 21-karat gold, the most in demand by the citizens in the local market, reached 102.90 Jordanian Dinars for selling purposes from the goldsmiths' shops, compared to 98.50 Dinars for buying.

The price per gram of gold of 24, 18, and 14 karats for selling purposes from the goldsmiths' shops amounted to 117.50, 91.40, and 71.40 Dinars respectively.
