Khaberni - Qatar witnesses on Sunday the start of the joint mobilization exercise for Gulf security agencies "Arabian Gulf Security 4" at Zekreet camp for 11 days.
The exercise includes more than 70 scenarios and 260 hours of intensive field training for the participating security agencies from all Gulf countries, along with specialized US security units.
The exercise also tests operational procedures and plans, enhances their development, facilitates the exchange of expertise and best practices, and raises the level of Gulf-American security coordination.
The exercise aims to enhance the Gulf security cooperation system and improve the level of readiness and joint coordination, in light of the changing nature of security challenges.
In a related context, it strengthens the ability to respond effectively and swiftly to crises and emergency events according to the best practices and adopted standards.
