Khaberni - Turkish actor Doğukan Gungor broke his silence for the first time after "Show TV" and the production company of the series "Mulberry Drink" immediately excluded him from the project, following a case related to banned substances, despite his involvement in the series for four consecutive seasons and his portrayal of one of the pivotal roles in it.
In an official statement published on his Instagram account, Gungor expressed his deep regret about what happened, confirming that he has started a new chapter in his life, and emphasizing his determination to return to the art scene through upcoming works after overcoming this difficult phase.
Sudden decision
Gungor stated in the text of the statement that he received the exclusion decision unexpectedly, expressing his sorrow over the end of his journey with the work, which he described as having presented with "great love" over the past years.
He added: "Any human can make mistakes in this life, and I do not deny that I made a mistake, but I have emerged from it and feel deep regret, having expressed this sincerely before the judicial authorities and the public, and have started a new and clean life."
The Turkish actor confirmed that he has learned harsh lessons from the experience and dedicated himself fully to his work, pledging to adhere to an upright and honest life, considering that every hardship has a side of good, even if pain is present in its details.

In a tone of reproach, Gungor pointed to the harshness of some decisions, saying that a mistake does not mean the end of a person or deprive him of a second chance, adding, "I leave those who do not believe in giving a person a new chance to their consciences, and I entrust my matter to God."

Show TV officially announced yesterday, Friday, the exclusion of the star Doğukan Gungor from the series "Mulberry Drink" (Kızılcık Şerbeti), after proving his drug use, which led to the definitive termination of his role in the project.
The production company did not just exclude "Doğukan," but also decided not to use his recently filmed scenes, in addition to removing his scenes from the new promotional trailer of the series.
The production company has indeed begun searching for a new actor to portray the character "Fatih Ünal," in preparation for continuing the events without delay in the schedule.
