Khaberni - Moroccan media confirmed that uncertainty surrounds the future of the technical staff for the "Atlas Lions", who will lead the first football team in the upcoming period.
The Al-Mountakhab newspaper stated that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has not yet made any decision regarding the future of national coach Walid Al-Rakraki, contrary to what was recently circulated about his resignation or the possibility of his dismissal from his position with the Moroccan national team.
The same sources indicated that the federation has not yet decided on any official step, pending a forthcoming meeting between the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, and coach Walid Al-Rakraki, where the latter is expected to present a comprehensive report including a detailed evaluation of the results achieved during the thirty-fifth edition of the African Nations Cup, hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco.
It emphasized that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation does not intend to rush any decisions concerning the future of the "Atlas Lions" coach, preferring to deal with the current stage calmly and prudently, especially in light of the general context and circumstances surrounding the last participation.
It pointed out that all that is being circulated regarding the dismissal of Walid Al-Rakraki or the opening of negotiations with other coaching names remains within the realm of efforts and speculations, and is not based on any official decision issued by the federation at this time.
