Egypt The Silent Killer Ends the Life of a Mother and 4 Children

Khaberni - A family of five members died on Friday, due to a gas leak incident inside their home in the Shubra Al Khaimah area of Qalyubia Governorate in Egypt, resulting in the deaths of the mother and her four children.

The security forces in Qalyubia Governorate's Directorate of Security were notified by the operations room, reporting that the locals found the bodies of a mother and her children inside their apartment on the third floor of a six-story residential building. The police immediately moved to the location of the report.

The Ambulance Authority dispatched several vehicles to the site. Upon initial examination and inspection, it was determined that the deaths were due to a gas leak inside the apartment, with no suspicion of criminal activity so far.

The accident resulted in the death of the mother, Shaimaa Sadiq, aged 31, and her four children: Mohamed Ibrahim Abdel Rahman, Mostafa Ibrahim Abdel Rahman, Ahmed Ibrahim Abdel Rahman, and Mesk Ibrahim Abdel Rahman.

The bodies were taken into custody by the public prosecution office, which began its inspection procedures and decided to take the necessary steps to reveal the circumstances of the incident and confirm the causes of death definitively.

Gas leakage is known in the media as "the silent killer," due to the imminent danger it poses that occurs silently and without prior warning.

Combustion gases are often colorless and tasteless, and their smell might not be detected in some cases, making their inhalation a hidden danger that poses a threat to lives.
