The government says it has completed 78 of the projects of the Economic Modernization Vision

Khaberni - The government has achieved 78% of 538 projects (completed and under execution) in the priority set of the implementation program for the Economic Modernization Vision, since its inception in early 2023 and until the end of 2025.

The government clarified in statements, that 339 out of 418 projects planned for completion by the end of 2025 have been completed at a rate of 81%, while 79 projects remain under execution at 19% for the same year.

The government plans to complete 120 projects at 22% of the total projects after 2025, making the total completed 78% of the full 2023-2025 implementation program.

Regarding the progress of the implementation program for the Economic Modernization Vision (2023-2025), the government completed 355 projects by the end of last year at 66%, while 101 projects are still under execution at 18.8% of the total projects.

The electronic system for monitoring government performance indicated that 79 projects are still delayed in implementation, representing 14.7% of the total project execution, while the number of projects that have not started implementation is 3 under the program's action plan, accounting for 0.5%.

In detail, the government completed 97 priorities in the high-value industries sector, followed by 78 priorities in the future services sector, then 74 priorities in the entrepreneurship and innovation sector, and 53 priorities in the quality of life sector.

The government also completed 37 priorities in the sustainable resources sector, 29 priorities in the "Jordan as a Global Destination" sector, 27 priorities in the investment sector, and 25 priorities in the "Sustainable Environment" sector.

The priorities under implementation are distributed among; 36 priorities in the "Sustainable Resources" sector, 30 priorities in the "High-Value Industries" sector, 16 priorities in the "Future Services" sector, and 8 priorities in the "Jordan as a Global Destination" sector, 4 priorities in each of the "Quality of Life" and entrepreneurship and innovation sectors, and 3 priorities in the "Sustainable Environment" sector.

As for delayed priorities, they are distributed to 21 priorities in the "High-Value Industries" sector, 16 priorities in the "Future Services" sector, 11 priorities in the "Quality of Life" sector, 9 priorities for the "Sustainable Resources" sector, and 8 priorities in the "Jordan as a Global Destination" sector and 6 in the entrepreneurship and innovation sector, and 5 priorities in the "Sustainable Environment" sector, and 3 delayed priorities in the "Investment" sector.

The Economic Modernization Vision and the map for public sector modernization were launched at the end of 2022 under royal patronage, and last year's implementation program for the Economic Modernization Vision included about 183 programs, 380 initiatives, and 514 priorities, with an allocation of 670 million dinar in the 2023 budget.

In the draft general budget law for 2026, the government allocated approximately 396 million dinar for implementing the programs of the Economic Modernization Vision, which continues to implement plans since its launch at the end of 2022.
