Khaberni - The Petra University football team has started its training in preparation for participating in the "Leader" tournament, organized by the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation in Aqaba.
Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Iyad Al-Malah, stated that the participation comes in celebration of the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II, adding that the university administration provides the necessary support for the sports teams to achieve accomplishments that reflect the students' excellence in extracurricular activities.
The training sessions are led by national coach Captain Hatem Aql, with the assistance of coach Ibrahim Abu Nab, and the competition will take place from the eighth to the thirteenth of February in the year 2026.
