Amman Ahliyya University Leads Jordanian Universities in Five Specialties and Ranks First Among Private Universities in Business

Khaberni - Amman Ahliyya University has achieved a new qualitative milestone in the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings by specialties for the year 2026, continuing its international advancement and solidifying its local status as one of the most prominent Jordanian universities in terms of presence and impact in specialized global rankings.

** The university ranked first among all Jordanian universities in the following specialties:
*Computer Science (Category 301–400)
*Education Studies (Category 176–200)
*Engineering (Category 301–400)
*Physical Sciences (Category 301–400)
*Arts & Humanities (Category 501–600)
** It also ranked first among private Jordanian universities in:
*Business & Economics (Category 301–400)
*Medical & Health (Category 501–600)
The university president, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, confirmed that these results reflect the university's vision of academic excellence and continuous updating of programs, linking education with qualitative scientific research and the job market.
 Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, also affirmed that the university is steadily progressing towards enhancing its global leadership through investing in the quality of education, scientific research, and international partnerships.
These results serve as an additional motivation for the university to continue working on enhancing institutional efficiency, expanding research partnerships, and developing qualitative programs in line with the best global practices and enhancing the university's status in upcoming international rankings.
