Water Controlling assaults on water lines and selling noncompliant tankers

Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority stated that its inspection teams within the Internal Control Unit in cooperation with the Jordan Water Company - Miyahuna, and the Yarmouk Water Company, as part of its ongoing campaign to tighten control over water sources in all regions of the kingdom, carried out between 17-21/1/2026 in collaboration with the Public Security Directorate, campaigns in Zarqa-Al Dhulayl in cooperation with Miyahuna - Zarqa to control assaults on one of the main transmission lines (Al-Halabat) with a diameter of 300 mm, which involved drawing water lines to supply illegal homes and properties.
And in Ain Al-Basha, assaults were also controlled on two main lines used to collect water from illegal springs and to sell it through tankers to citizens, and 3 assaults were controlled in the capital, Amman, for supplying a building and homes illegally, and the sale of non-compliant tanker tanks was controlled in Irbid / Aidoun where the assaults were removed, records prepared, and violations issued, and the quantities will be calculated and the violators will be fined based on the water prices.
The Ministry / Water Authority urged that it will continue its inspection campaign in all regions of the kingdom to control the assaults, calling on everyone to exhibit a sense of responsibility and to report any assaults to ensure equitable water distribution to citizens, appreciating the wide community response in Jordan to the ministry's/water authority's campaign.

The Ministry / Water Authority appeals to everyone to cooperate with it and to join forces in such water-related circumstances to enable it to fulfill its duties, hoping that everyone will report any unlawful assaults or uses through the unified complaints center 117116 and all available means.
