Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States is trying to protect the Kurds, responding to a journalist's question about protecting Kurdish rights in Syria.
Trump added to reporters at the White House, "I admire the Kurds, but just so you understand, huge sums of money were paid to the Kurds, and they were given oil and other things. So they were doing it for themselves, more than they were doing it for us, but we agree with the Kurds and are trying to protect them."
