Khaberni - A recent survey conducted by "Randstad" and published today, Tuesday, has revealed a radical shift in employees' perceptions of their future jobs, where 80% of workers (4 out of 5) believe that artificial intelligence will substantially alter their daily tasks.
The results, published by "Reuters", show that members of "Generation Z" are the most concerned and affected by this technological wave, particularly as the pace of corporate adoption of chatbots and advanced automation systems accelerates.
In its annual report, "Randstad" stated that job vacancies requiring artificial intelligence agent skills have increased by 1587%, and survey data indicate that artificial intelligence and automation are increasingly replacing low-complexity transactions and roles.
The survey included 27,000 workers and 1,225 employers, along with an analysis of over 3 million job advertisements across 35 markets.
Labor markets are under immense pressure as companies around the world intensify job cuts, in addition to declining consumer sentiment, which has been shaken by the trade war led by U.S. President Donald Trump and his aggressive moves in foreign policy, dealing a strong blow to the rule-based global system.
Technology companies focusing on artificial intelligence have started replacing jobs with automation, at a time when most companies are still waiting for tangible returns from an exceptional wave of artificial intelligence investment that is expected to shape the business world for years to come.
Survey data revealed that about half of the workers interviewed feared that this emerging technology would benefit companies more than the workforce itself.
