Khaberni - Media reports have confirmed that Napoli has entered a direct battle with Juventus to sign Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri, amidst vigorous efforts from both sides to strengthen their forward line in the coming period, benefiting from the player's end of participation in the Africa Cup of Nations and his return to the transfer market as one of the highly-discussed names.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio stated that according to the circulating data, En-Nesyri is now open to considering all the offers presented to him, after clearly expressing his desire to play and have a new experience that would provide him with more minutes on the field, which encouraged Napoli and Juventus to pursue him, especially since the deal is being considered in the form of a loan, which makes it a practical option for both parties financially and technically.
He added: "Napoli sees the Moroccan striker as a suitable solution to boost its attacking capability, in search of a forward who can move within the penalty area and exploit half-chances, possessing European experience and notable international exposure."
On the other hand, Juventus includes En-Nesyri in its list of attacking options, with the technical staff convinced of his ability to adapt to the team's style and provide additional solutions in the final third.
He pointed out that despite the current focus on the En-Nesyri file, Napoli still retains the name of Brazilian Marcos Leonardo in its shortlist, as an alternative or parallel option, even if the anticipated exchange deal with Luka does not materialize, reflecting the club's desire not to tie its attacking plans to a single course.
