Khaberni - Brooklyn Beckham made a notable attack on his parents, English football star and owner of the "Inter Miami" club David Beckham and his wife, fashion designer Victoria, stating that he "does not want reconciliation" with his family.
The 26-year-old stated in a shocking statement on Instagram that he was forced to break his silence regarding the ongoing family dispute, noting that his parents continued to talk to the press about him and his wife Nicola Peltz, spreading "many lies" about their lives.
He added: "I am not controlled by anyone, and I am defending myself for the first time in my life, after my parents controlled the family's narrative in the media throughout my life."
Brooklyn accused his parents of trying to sabotage his relationship with his wife before and after their marriage, pointing out that his mother canceled Nicola's dress design at the last minute, and that his parents pressured him to relinquish the rights to use his name before the wedding in Florida. He also described his mother's behavior during the couple's first dance as "painful and embarrassing in front of 500 guests."
He explained that he and his wife renewed their wedding vows in August 2025 to create positive memories away from anxiety and embarrassment. Brooklyn criticized what he described as the dominance of the family's public image and brand over relationships, clarifying that his parents prioritize "public promotion and sponsorships above everything else."
Brooklyn confirmed that distancing himself from his parents ended his anxiety, finding peace and comfort, adding: "All my wife and I want is peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family."
Representatives of David and Victoria Beckham have not commented on the statement, while tension continues within the family since Brooklyn and Nicola's marriage, and Brooklyn recently warned his parents only to contact him through lawyers, with his wife supporting his decisions.
