Khaberni  - Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara` made two phone calls, with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during which they discussed developments in Syria in light of the historic agreement that was signed with the Democratic Forces of Syria "SDF".

The Syrian News Agency "SANA" stated in two separate statements that al-Shara` called Sheikh Tamim and bin Salman, and they reviewed the current events in Syria.

The Syrian President emphasized in his calls with the Emir of Qatar and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia on the unity of Syrian territory, and the restoration of the state's full role in the country.

This development comes hours after al-Shara` signed a historic agreement with the SDF leader Mazloum Abdi, during which they agreed on ending the conflict and integrating the Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian state institutions, with emphasis on the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of Syrian territory.

Per the agreement, a ceasefire will be implemented immediately and completely, with full integration between "SDF" and the Syrian government.

The provisions of the agreement stipulate the withdrawal of all military formations belonging to "SDF" to the area east of the Euphrates as a preliminary step for redeployment.

Under the agreement, the Syrian government will take full control of all border crossings and oil and gas fields in the region, securing their protection by regular forces to ensure the return of resources to the Syrian state.

The Syrian News Agency "SANA" mentioned that the agreement stipulates the integration of all military and security elements of "SDF" into the structure of the Syrian Ministries of Defense and Interior individually after the necessary security vetting, granting them military ranks, financial entitlements, and logistical support accordingly, with protection of the specificity of the Kurdish regions.
