Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yusuf Ahmad Al-Huneiti, met yesterday, Sunday, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Arab Libyan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abul-Qasim Haftar, at the Libyan General Command headquarters.
An official military reception was held for Major General Al-Huneiti.
During the meeting, discussions were held about areas of bilateral military cooperation and ways to develop them, especially in the fields of military training, exchange of expertise, and enhancement of capacities and capabilities, in addition to discussing mechanisms of coordination and consultation regarding a number of issues of mutual interest, which serve the common interests and contribute to enhancing regional security and stability.
Field Marshal Haftar conveyed his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, emphasizing the depth of the fraternal relations and the solid historical ties that unite the two brotherly nations, and appreciating Jordan’s role in supporting security and stability in the region.
