Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs welcomed the ceasefire and full integration agreement signed between His Excellency President Ahmed Al-Shar’ and the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, announced today by the presidency of the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, and considered it an important step towards enhancing Syria's unity, stability, and security.
The official spokesperson of the ministry, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, confirmed the kingdom's welcome and support for the agreement, reaffirming Jordan's stance in supporting the security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its brotherly citizens of Syria.
Al-Majali also appreciated the role of the United States in reaching the agreement, emphasizing the importance of implementing its clauses for the benefit of Syria and its brotherly people, and supporting efforts for recovery and rebuilding.
