The authors explained that three large studies involving a total of more than 260,000 children screened for autism, and approximately 335,000 children and 405,000 children screened for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and intellectual disabilities, respectively. The three studies showed no statistically significant relationship between the use of the medication and these conditions. The scientists noted that the results remained accurate when combining high-quality findings from the studies.
