Khaberni - Reuters quoted former U.S. President Donald Trump as saying that, as the Chairman of the Peace Council, he supports the newly appointed Palestinian technocrat government, alongside the Gaza Management Committee.
Trump added that these Palestinian leaders are «firmly committed to a peaceful future», emphasizing that their support represents an important step in this direction.
In the same context, Trump stated that with the support from Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar, a comprehensive agreement for the disarmament of Hamas movement will be ensured, which includes the surrender of all weapons and the destruction of tunnels.
Trump emphasized that Hamas must immediately fulfill its obligations, including the return of the last body to Israel, and move forward towards disarmament.
Trump concluded by saying: «As I have said before, Hamas can do this the easy way or the hard way».
