Khaberni - US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday the formation of the Peace Council in Gaza, saying its members will be announced "soon".
Trump added, on the "Truth Social" platform, that the council is "the greatest and most historic council ever formed, at any time and place".
White House envoy Steve Witkoff announced on Wednesday the launch of the second phase of Trump's 20-point plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip, which moves from a ceasefire to disarmament, establishing a technocratic Palestinian administration, and beginning reconstruction.
