Khaberni - Three diplomats told Reuters that some individuals were advised to leave the Al Udeid Air Base, which belongs to the US military in Qatar, by Wednesday evening.
The US Embassy in Doha had no immediate comment.
Al Udeid Base is the largest US base in the Middle East and houses about 10,000 soldiers.
Prior to the American airstrikes on Iran in June, some personnel were relocated from US bases in the Middle East.
