Khaberni - The Attorney General in the UAE has ordered the arrest of (25) suspects of various nationalities and their immediate trial for publishing misleading content that harms the defense measures and glorifies acts of military aggression against the country through digital platforms.
This order to arrest this new group comes after their involvement was proven in the publishing and distribution of digital content over several digital platforms, which may mislead public opinion and harm the security and stability, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior.
The Ministry said: Investigations and electronic monitoring revealed that the suspects were divided into three groups, committing various acts that consisted of publishing authentic clips related to ongoing events, fabricating clips using artificial intelligence technologies, in addition to promoting a state that engages in military aggression, glorifying its leadership and military actions, promoting its military assaults on the state, and praising them.
