Khaberni - Media reports have unveiled a surprising name entering the plans of Real Madrid's management to sign a new coach to lead the team from the start of the next season.
Account Transfer News Live on X, quoting the Spanish newspaper Sport, reported that Real Madrid is considering signing Enzo Maresca to coach the team over the long term next season, through secretive moves not disclosed to the media, in a step that reflects the royal club's desire to find technical stability after a series of administrative and tactical changes in recent seasons.
"Maresca, who previously managed Chelsea for a short time, enjoys a strong reputation thanks to his coaching style that combines defensive discipline with organized attack, which aligns with Real Madrid's traditional philosophy of offensive play while maintaining a solid backline," it added.
It noted that sources close to the club confirmed that the management is carefully studying his profile, discussing all the details related to a long-term contract with his agent, focusing on future development plans for the first team and the academy.
Conversely, Real Madrid is also monitoring several local and European options before making the final decision, in an attempt to avoid repeating previous failures in short-term coaching contracts.
The royal club is looking to appoint a technical director capable of leading the team in both domestic and European championships, ensuring the continuity of the technical strategy it has relied on for decades.
