Khaberni - In exciting developments around the money laundering accusations against the famous blogger Mawada Al-Adham, the competent court sentenced the famous blogger to one year in prison, fined her four million and two hundred thousand pounds, and ordered the confiscation of her car and silver ornaments.
The judgment was issued after the investigative authorities charged Mawada Al-Adham with money laundering based on reports from the Public Funds Prosecution, which referred her to trial for money laundering.
The blogger Mawada Al-Adham was sentenced to six years in prison
The Cairo Criminal Court had sentenced Mawada Al-Adham to six years in prison for human trafficking, through exploiting children in the videos she presented on "TikTok," after a decision was issued to refer her to criminal trial for this accusation.
The human trafficking case is the third against Mawada Al-Adham, following cases of violating the curfew in New Cairo and filming in the streets during curfew hours, and the second was a case of assaulting societal values by publishing indecent videos to achieve financial gain.
The Misdemeanor Economic Court sentenced her to two years in prison in the second case, and fined her 300,000 pounds, while the court later canceled her imprisonment and only imposed a fine.
