Khaberni - New horrifying details revealed the method by which the singer "D4vd", whose real name is David Berk, lured victim Celeste Rivas (14 years old), then ultimately dismembered her body using an electric saw, according to prosecutors.
Investigators said that the singer ordered an "Uber" to transport Rivas from her family home in "Lake Elsinore" to his house in "Hollywood Hills" on the night of April 23, according to legal documents obtained by "The California Post".
Prosecutors reported that he then stabbed her and watched her bleed to death. Reportedly, Berk ordered a shovel from "Home Depot" the next day, which was delivered to his house via "Postmates" service. About a week later, he ordered two electric saws from "Amazon" which arrived at his home, and on May 5, it is said he ordered body bags, heavy-duty laundry bags, and a blue inflatable swimming pool, according to the documents.
The allegations indicate that he made these purchases under the alias "Victoria Mendez". From there, investigators say Berk "took horrifying steps to destroy the victim's body and dispose of it".
According to the documents, Berk placed Rivas's body inside the inflatable blue pool to prevent her blood from reaching the floor of his garage and used the electric saw, and possibly other tools, to cut off her limbs.
Investigators noted that they found plastic shards embedded in Rivas's remains that matched those found in the pool that Berk bought from "Amazon". Berk amputated Rivas's left hand's ring and little fingers because the ring finger had a tattoo with his name – these fingers were never recovered – according to the documents.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Berk’s home in September 2025, where they claimed to have "discovered evidence consistent with dismembering the victim's body in the inflatable pool, which contained several linear cuts. Several biological samples were collected from the garage area, which tested positive for the presence of blood", as stated in the documents. The investigators mentioned that the DNA matched Rivas's.
The documents also stated that Berk and Rivas had a "long argument" via text messages the night before the murder because she felt jealous of Berk's relationships with other women. The investigators stated, "She was very upset and threatened to reveal damning information about their relationship to end his career and destroy his life."
There are also disgusting details on how Berk and Rivas met when she was only 11 years old in January 2022, the investigators noted that the two then started a sexual relationship in November 2023 when Rivas was 13 and Berk was 18. Reportedly, Rivas's family reported her missing in February 2024 - long before her murder - and the investigators found a phone number in her phone belonging to Berk.
When the investigators contacted Berk, he mentioned he was unaware that she was a minor or that she had been reported missing. Upon finding her safe, the Rivas family confiscated her phone, but Berk, according to the documents, continued to pursue her despite being informed that she was a minor.
Berk even drove his car to "Lake Elsinore" where Rivas lived, and paid a student in her class $1000 to give Rivas a phone he had bought so they could continue communicating... and the text messages obtained by the investigators indicate that the two continued to have a sexual relationship, according to the investigators.
Berk was in court on Wednesday for a procedural session, where his lawyer expressed concern about the potential of the alleged evidence becoming public material. Last week, it was revealed that a "large" amount of child pornography was found on Berk's "iPhone" following an inspection of the device. The investigators said they collected 40 terabytes of data through a lengthy investigation, and they also disclosed that they conducted wiretaps.
