Khaberni - The Jordanian Meteorological Department published the expected weather conditions for the next four days, with the following details:
Wednesday daytime: The kingdom remains under the influence of the remnants of the cold and moist air mass, the weather will be cold and partly to mostly cloudy, with the possibility of scattered rain showers occasionally in the western parts of the kingdom. By the early night hours, the chances of precipitation will decrease and the weather will gradually stabilize, with moderate northwesterly winds that occasionally intensify.
Wednesday night: Extremely cold weather especially over the mountains, with the appearance of clouds at low altitudes, and moderate westerly winds.
Warnings for Wednesday:
Reduced horizontal visibility in the morning due to fog over the mountainous highlands and plains and parts of the desert areas.
- Formation of frost and occurrence of freezing during the late night hours especially in the southern highlands.
- Reduced horizontal visibility due to dust in desert areas.
Thursday daytime: Slight rise in temperatures, foggy weather in the morning and cold in most areas, yet mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with the appearance of some clouds at low altitudes, and moderate northwesterly winds that intensify occasionally.
Thursday night: Very cold weather in most areas, and cold in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with the appearance of some clouds at low altitudes, and light northwesterly winds.
Warnings for Thursday:
- Reduced horizontal visibility in the morning due to fog over the mountainous highlands and plains and parts of the desert areas.
- Possibility of frost formation and occurrence of freezing in the early morning hours especially in the southern highlands.
Friday daytime: Another slight rise in temperatures, with foggy weather in the morning and cold conditions in most areas, yet mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with the appearance of clouds at low altitudes in the north and central parts of the kingdom, with light southeasterly winds.
Friday night: Very cold weather in most areas, and cold in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with the appearance of clouds at high altitudes, and light southeasterly winds.
