Khaberni - Minister of Local Administration Walid El-Masri stated that the rainfall reached 80 mm by Tuesday morning, noting that this exceeds expectations and the infrastructure’s capacity to handle it.
He added that some roads in Zarqa and Ruseifa were closed due to rising stream levels and the resultant flooding of surrounding streets.
El-Masri revealed the increased level of the Zarqa stream and its flooding onto surrounding streets, which prompted ministry teams to close several roads to ensure the safety of citizens.
