Khaberni - Egyptian poet Tamer Hussein confirmed that singer Sherine Abdel Wahab is going through a critical period that requires continuous medical supervision by the state, calling for urgent intervention to take over her care in official hospitals and not to rely solely on the care of friends or relatives.
Hussein stated on his account on the X website that the artist needs close monitoring for a period of no less than six months, emphasizing that any attempt to allow her to return home before her health stabilizes may expose her to complications, and no one will be able to take care of Sherine if she returns to her home, as she needs precise care and strict monitoring that prevents anyone from approaching her until she regains her health."
He clarified that his advice comes out of sincere love for the artist and for the sake of Allah, confirming that the state alone, alongside Allah, is capable of ensuring her full recovery.
Details of the new move and residence
A source close to Sherine revealed to local media that the artist secretly moved to live in the house of a famous artist, along with her sister, to provide psychological support and necessary care away from the isolation she imposed on herself at her home in the Sheikh Zayed area in Giza governorate.
The source added that Sherine was living in almost complete isolation, accompanied only by a limited number of workers, with almost no contact with the artistic community and friends.
The source mentioned that the suggestion to move Sherine to the house of the famous artist came as a humanitarian gesture to provide care and psychological support, and although Sherine initially refused the idea, the insistence of some close individuals eventually led her to agree, and she was secretly transported by ambulance to her new residence within one of the upscale residential complexes on the Alexandria Desert Road, to ensure her comfort and privacy.
Despite some news circulated on social media about the possibility of artist Zeina hosting Sherine, the latter has neither confirmed nor denied these reports.
That comes after statements by Ashraf Zaki, the head of the acting professions union in Egypt, who confirmed that he recently visited Sherine and reassured her condition, but he noted that she still suffers from a lack of desire to communicate and go out during this phase.
Appearance of her daughter and reassurance to the public
The public's attention is also focused on Sherine's daughters, "Hana" and "Maryam," especially with conflicting information about their current residence, whether with their mother or their father.
In a step that reassured her mother's fans, Hana El Fakih, the eldest daughter, recently appeared in a beauty salon in the Zamalek area, singing her mother's famous song "On My Mind," which caught the attention of the public and was praised by many followers, noting that her voice resembles her mother's voice, and her features reflect clear happiness and innocence.
