Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits and Warnings One Tablespoon is Enough

Khaberni - The Russian doctor Denis Prokofiev listed some of the most important benefits of consuming apple cider vinegar for the health of the body and the digestive system.

The doctor said in an interview with the Russian radio "Sputnik":"Consuming apple cider vinegar has many health benefits, as it helps with weight loss and enhances the function of the immune system in the body, and has strong antimicrobial properties, as it eliminates many types of pathogenic bacteria that may enter the body through food."

He pointed out that the benefits of vinegar depend on the amount: it is not advisable to exceed one tablespoon with each meal, and it should be diluted with water before use, because vinegar is an acidic substance that may harm the digestive tract and stomach if used in large amounts. He added that individuals with chronic stomach ulcers, acute gastritis, or any erosive lesions in the digestive system should avoid its consumption.

Brokofiev also noted the possibility of using apple cider vinegar as an external antiseptic for skin wounds, by applying a small amount on a cotton pad to sterilize the injury site.
