Khaberni - The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the availability of scholarships for the academic year 2026-2027, offered by the Government of Brunei/Darussalam in various academic programs (Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s) in different fields at the following universities:
- Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University
- University of Brunei Darussalam
- Brunei University of Technology
- Brunei Polytechnic
* The scholarship includes:
(Coverage of tuition and registration fees, accommodation, health insurance, book allowance, meal allowance, monthly stipend, return economy class air ticket).
* Language of instruction:
English
* Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants for Diploma and Bachelor’s programs must be no older than 25 years, and Master’s program applicants no older than 35 years as of 1-7-2026
- Applicants must have a score of at least (6) in the IELTS exam and (550) in the TOEFL exam.

* Brunei Polytechnic is recognized by the ministry only for the Diploma level.
* Application deadline is 15-2-2026
* Classes start in August 2026.
* It is important to read the instructions and offered fields thoroughly before filling out the application, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to the conditions set by each university.
* Applicants must adhere to the certification equivalence instructions for non-Jordanian certificates for the year 2023 and the amended instructions for the year 2025.
* Applicants are not required to visit the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the stamping or signing of the application form.
