Khaberni - Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, received on Monday, in his office at the General Command, the commander of the naval forces at the U.S. Central Command, Lieutenant General Kurt Renshaw, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, aspects of military cooperation, in operational, training, and logistical fields were discussed, aiming to enhance military capabilities and serve the interests of the armed forces of the two friendly countries.
Both sides highlighted during the meeting the importance of continuing coordination and consultation on various issues of common interest, especially those related to enhancing the security and stability of the region, and facing current security challenges, confirming the strength of the strategic partnership that links the armed forces of the two countries, and the joint keenness to develop it in a way that keeps up with regional and international changes and enhances readiness and efficiency.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
