Khaberni - The total number of sold apartments in the kingdom during the year 2025 reached about 37,620, compared to 36,933 apartments during the year 2024, marking a 2% increase, according to the data issued by the Department of Lands and Survey.
The numbers indicated that the sales of apartments with areas exceeding 150 square meters increased by 5% during 2025, reaching 16,556 apartments, compared to 15,830 apartments in 2024.
The data also showed an increase in the sales of apartments with areas less than 120 square meters by 3% during 2025, reaching 11,546 apartments, compared to 11,175 apartments in 2024.
Conversely, the sales of apartments with areas between 120 and 150 square meters saw a decrease of 4% in 2025, reaching 9,518 apartments, compared to 9,928 apartments during 2024.
On a monthly performance basis, the data from December 2025 recorded 3,177 sold apartments, compared to 3,470 apartments in December 2024, with a decrease of 8%.
The numbers showed that the sales of apartments exceeding 150 square meters during December 2025 reached 1,376 apartments, compared to 1,460 apartments in the same month of 2024, with a decrease of 6%.
Additionally, the sales of apartments ranging between 120 and 150 square meters during December 2025 decreased by 13%, recording 820 apartments, compared to 939 apartments in December 2024.
Conversely, the sales of apartments with areas less than 120 square meters during December 2025 increased by 2%, reaching 1,116 apartments, compared to 1,094 apartments in the same month of the previous year.
The Council of Ministers issued a decision on November 12, 2024, exempting residential apartments with areas exceeding 150 square meters from 50% of the registration fees, in addition to the previous decision to exempt apartments with areas less than 150 square meters from 100% of the registration fees.
