Khaberni - Jerash Agriculture Directorate staff, on Sunday, January 11, 2026, seized eight tons of firewood in the Sakib area, as part of their monitoring campaigns to combat encroachments on forest wealth.
The Directorate clarified that the seized quantity included five tons of firewood found inside a firewood trader's house.
It was also explained that the vehicles used in transporting the firewood were transferred to Suf Security Center, to take the necessary legal actions against the violators in accordance with the law.
