Khaberni - The forecasts of the Arab Center for Climate model "high precision" indicate a high probability that the majority of regions in Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and western and southwestern Syria will experience heavy rainfall starting from Tuesday night and throughout Tuesday.
According to the map generated by the model, which accurately considers the local terrain, and after comparing it with other model results, it is expected to record significant rainfall amounts exceeding 80 mm in several areas including Amman, parts of Al-Salt, Ramallah, Jerusalem, some mountainous areas in Lebanon, and the Qalamoun heights and northern Damascus in Syria. The intensity of the rainfall varies by region, but the risk of floods and torrents in wide areas remains high.
All citizens in the mentioned cities are advised to be cautious and follow the instructions of local authorities: be aware of valley areas, do not cross flooded roads, secure properties, and prepare emergency supplies. This situation requires readiness from the relevant entities (civil defense, municipalities, roads, facilities) for immediate intervention and direct opening of alarm channels.
