Khaberni - Colombian singer Yeison Jimenez, aged 34, died along with five other people on Saturday following the crash of a small plane shortly after it took off from Paipa airport in Boyaca, central Colombia.
The Colombian Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aviation reported that the small model plane with registration number N325FA crashed on the morning of Saturday, January 10, in the area between the towns of Paipa and Duitama.
The official agency stated that the plane was carrying six people: the pilot, the co-pilot, and four passengers, among them Jimenez, who is one of the prominent stars of Colombian folk music.
