College of Information Technology at Arab Amman University Honors its Outstanding Students in Scientific and Technical Competiti

Khaberni  - In its commitment to supporting academic excellence and innovation, the College of Information Technology at the university honored a group of its students who have achieved distinguished accomplishments during the first semester of the academic year 2025-2026, through their active participation in various scientific and technological competitions across universities in the kingdom, in recognition of their efforts and perseverance, and as a tribute to the honorable results they have achieved, reflecting the high level of scientific and practical competence of the students of the College of Information Technology at Arab Amman University, and enhancing the university's presence in specialized technology forums.

The honors included a group of students who made an outstanding appearance in several scientific and technical competitions, demonstrating high levels of efficiency and professionalism in the field of cyber security. The team of students: Ru’a Wahsh, Manar Al-Aas, Taif Al-Halo, Yasmin Qaraqeesh, and Jud Abu Hamada, won third place in the SheHacks 2025 competition, reflecting their excellence and competitive capacity in technological forums. Additionally, the students participating in the 2025 IEEE Jordan Cybersecurity Challenge were recognized, where the team of students: Saif Al-Tamimi, Ameen Sanjaq, Osama Ismail, and Abdullah Al-Sharqawi, took third place, and another team composed of: Bayan Subha, Ahmed Obeidat, Rama Al-Baradie, and Zahraa Al-Zaurori, won first place in the advanced cryptography (Crypto Advance) category, confirming their distinction in specialized technical fields. The honors also included the students participating in the live hacking competition in the C8 2025 conference, where the students: Amer Gaith, Abdelrahman Al-Qaisi, and Mohammad Al-Ajarmeh achieved second place, showcasing their high capabilities in applied cyber security. In the field of artificial intelligence, the team of students: Amer Jihad Gaith, Abdulrahman Hisham Al-Qaisi, and Omar Mohammad Al-Sawafeen achieved second place in the Simera Competition, supervised by Dr. Ahmad Al-Ajarmeh, reflecting their skills in employing smart technologies and innovation. In the field of health innovation and health technologies, student Lin Nidal Abdel-Latif Nofal was honored for obtaining second place in the "Impact on the Health of the Future" hackathon, an achievement that highlights her ability to deliver innovative solutions serving the health sector.

In this regard, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College of Information Technology at Arab Amman University, confirmed that these achievements reflect the advanced level reached by the students of the college, embodying the fruit of continuous support provided by the university and college management, alongside the stimulating academic environment that encourages creativity, excellence, and positive competition. He praised the efforts of the students and academic supervisors, and affirmed the college's commitment to continue supporting quality participations in scientific and technological competitions, which directly polish the students' skills and enhance their scientific and professional readiness.
