The Minister of Labor calls for avoiding rumors

Khaberni - Minister of Labor Khaled al-Bakkar emphasized the importance of enhancing the values of national unity and solidarity, raising the level of intellectual awareness to tackle all the challenges and regional crises facing Jordan.

During a seminar organized by Geras Training and Development Institution on Saturday, titled "The Role of Popular Forces in Facing Regional Challenges", held at Greater Irbid Municipality, with the presence of popular and academic figures, al-Bakkar affirmed that Jordan, under its wise leadership, ranks at the forefront of nations supporting the Palestinian people. He pointed out that His Majesty King Abdullah II has harnessed Jordanian diplomacy to support the Palestinian cause on the international stage, highlighting Jordan's role in supporting Arab countries in their crises, where it has not hesitated to offer help and support in the Syrian crisis and with Iraq, Lebanon, and Libya.

He referred to the importance of the citizen's role in tackling rumors, urging accuracy and verification of information before spreading it, and distancing oneself from following rumors and exchanging inaccurate news and information.

Former Deputy Rashed al-Shouha highlighted the role of youth and women in the political modernization project and in forming local councils and participating in parties and elections, stating that this has enhanced the state's stability and helped in directing public opinion towards critical Arab issues.

Al-Shouha explained that aware party work is a true leverage for enhancing public awareness and establishing a culture of participation and serving the higher national interest within the state's framework and its affiliates.

Furthermore, Yasmin al-Za’bi, the head of the Jordanian National Women's Committees Gathering in Irbid Governorate, discussed the role of Jordanian women in the field, at home, in voluntary work, and in civil society institutions.

She stated that the Women's Committees Gathering does not seek a merely formal role for women, but believes in a real and effective role, as a nation is built through full partnership between women and men, stressing that regional challenges are not faced with slogans, but with awareness, dialogue, and the capacity to read the scene without exaggeration or downplaying.
