German Red Cross Supply situation in Gaza Strip is horrifying and worsening

Khaberni - The German Red Cross said, "The already deteriorating conditions for the residents of the Gaza Strip have further worsened during the winter season."

German Red Cross President, Hermann Groehe, said in statements to the German "Rheinische Post" newspaper: "The winter months coupled with the poor supply conditions are particularly horrifying for children, the injured, and the elderly."

Groehe talked about a serious shortage in supplies, saying: "There is still a lack of everything, adequate food, medical supplies, medications, electricity, and water."

Groehe, who previously served as the Health Minister in Germany, added that the quantities of humanitarian aid reaching the Gaza Strip are still insufficient, as the required number, which is the entry of 600 trucks daily, is not being met.

According to the "Doctors Without Borders" organization, the inadequacy of medical care in the Gaza Strip is a major problem.

The executive director of the organization, Christian Katzer, said in statements to the newspaper: "Many Palestinians die from diseases that could have been treated."
