45000 male and female students Tawjihi to take the Arabic language exam on Saturday

Khaberni - On Saturday, 45,000 male and female students from all academic and vocational branches will take the supplementary session exam for the General Secondary Education Certificate "Tawjihi" on its eighth day, out of a total of 131,381 registered participants, including 116,714 students who have not completed the success requirements, and 14,667 students seeking to improve their grades.

The Ministry of Education stated that these students will take the exam in the subject of Arabic in a unified exam paper, with the first session starting at eleven o'clock in the morning.

The Director of Exams and Assessment Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Mohammed Shahadeh, affirmed that the exam questions will be from within the prescribed school curriculum and will consider the individual differences among students.

Shahadeh said "the exams will be balanced and appropriate for the allotted time", noting that the exams have been proceeding smoothly and as planned since their launch.

He explained that the first session for the exam starts at eleven o'clock in the morning, confirming that all students will take the exams according to the approved school textbook editions for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Shahadeh suggested that the results of the General Secondary Education Certificate "Tawjihi" for the supplementary session of the current year might be announced before the middle of next February.

This year, 131,381 male and female students are participating in the supplementary Tawjihi exam, including 116,714 students who have not completed the success requirements, and 14,667 students seeking to improve their grades. The students are distributed across various academic and vocational branches as follows: Eleventh Grade Academic (37,437 students), Scientific (42,274 students), Literary (40,468 students), Islamic Studies (116 students), Industrial (3,740 students), Agricultural (2,422 students), Hotel and Tourism (887 students), and Home Economics (4,037 students).

The exams are held in 529 examination centers distributed across various Departments of Education and Higher Education throughout the kingdom, with 42 reserve halls allocated across different directorates. The exam papers will be corrected in 38 centers across the provinces.

It is planned that 140 students will be able to take the exams in correction and rehabilitation centers and juvenile centers, distributed across 15 halls. Additionally, 3 students at the King Hussein Cancer Center will participate.

As for students with disabilities, 422 male and female students will take the exams, distributed across the following categories: deaf (115 students), blind (37 students), students with physical disabilities (113 students), cerebral palsy (64 students), and visually impaired (93 students).
