Khaberni - The Governor of Zarqa, Dr. Firas Abu Qa'oud, followed the field efforts made by the relevant authorities to rescue several people trapped inside their vehicle in the flood channel of Al-Ghabawi area, following the formation of floods due to prevailing weather conditions.
The accident site was attended by the Deputy Director of Zarqa Police, Colonel Qais Al-Khasawneh, and the Director of Zarqa Civil Defense, Colonel Issa Al-Zghaybe, alongside the security forces and civil defense personnel, where the situation was dealt with swiftly and efficiently, and necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of those trapped.
The rescue operations were part of a precise field coordination between the concerned parties, reflecting a commitment to immediate response to emergency incidents, and providing the highest levels of safety for citizens, especially under the weather conditions experienced by the governorate.
Governor Abu Qa'oud emphasized the importance of citizens adhering to general safety guidelines and avoiding crossing flood channels during rainfall to safeguard lives and property, stressing the continuous readiness to deal with any emergencies.
Abu Qa'oud also emphasized the necessity to continue monitoring and field assessment, addressing any observations or imbalances promptly, ensuring enhanced readiness and rapid response capabilities, and reinforcing public safety measures, to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
