Khaberni - The number of payment transactions executed through the "eFAWATEERcom" system in 2025 reached approximately 75 million transactions, with a total value of 15.99 billion dinars, according to the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC).
The report showed that the total number of "eFAWATEERcom" users reached 5.04 million users by the end of December 2025, registering a growth of 0.9%.
The report added that the number of current users reached 5 million users, accounting for 99.2% of the total number of users, while the number of new users reached 44.3 thousand users, accounting for 0.8%.
It indicated that the number of billers through the system reached 685 billers, while the number of available services reached 2,323 services.
According to the report, the number of transactions executed through "eFAWATEERcom" rose to 7.03 million transactions in December, achieving a growth of 7.8% compared to November, which recorded 6.52 million transactions.
The "telecommunications" sector topped the list of transactions with 2.18 million transactions, followed by the "water and electricity" sector with 1.99 million transactions, then the "government services" with 1.54 million transactions, followed by "wallet companies and payment service providers" with 592 thousand transactions, and "finance and financial services" with 316 thousand transactions, then "education" with 156 thousand transactions, and "transport and travel" with 60 thousand transactions, followed by "unions and organizations" with 43 thousand transactions, then "gas and energy" with 38 thousand transactions, and "trade and services" with 32 thousand transactions.
Digital payments accounted for the majority share of the number of transactions in December, amounting to 5.65 million transactions, which equals 80.3% of the total transactions, compared to 1.38 million transactions for cash payments, and 19.7% ratio.
The total value of transactions during December reached approximately 1.6 billion dinars, an increase of 13.7% compared to the previous month, which recorded 1.41 billion dinars.
In terms of the value of transactions, "government services" led the payments through the system in December 2025, amounting to 899 million dinars, followed by "wallet companies and payment service providers" with 422 million dinars, then "water and electricity" with 77 million dinars, and "finance and financial services" with 58 million dinars, then "education" with 43 million dinars, and "telecommunications" with 36 million dinars, followed by "banks" with 17 million dinars, then "gas and energy" with 16 million dinars, then "trade and services" with 13 million dinars, and finally "transport and travel" with 7 million dinars.
In terms of value, digital payments during the same month amounted to 1.17 billion dinars, constituting 73.4% of the total payments, while the value of cash payments reached 425.6 million dinars, with a ratio of 26.6%.
The average value of transactions through "eFAWATEERcom" in December rose to 228 dinars, compared to 216 dinars in November, and 212 dinars in October 2025.
