Khaberni - The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, presented on Thursday, the issue 2 for the current year of treasury bonds worth 100 million dinar.
According to data reviewed by "Al Mamlaka", the maturity date for the current issue is January 11, 2029, while the bank mentioned that the settlement date is January 11, 2026.
Treasury bonds are long-term financing tools with maturity periods ranging from two to twenty years, and they vary between government/treasury bonds and those issued by companies.
Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for periods ranging from 3 to 12 months, and are characterized as low-risk financial instruments that are traded in financial markets for buying and selling.
