Khaberni - A traffic accident occurred, Wednesday, in the area of Independence Suburb near the signals of Prince Hamzah Hospital.
According to a video documenting the accident, a speeding vehicle jumped into another street overtaking the rapid bus lane, leading to a collision with five other vehicles that were stopped in front of a residential building beside the road.
The accident resulted in injuries to the driver of the vehicle, and a second driver who was passing in the street before being surprised by the incoming vehicle from a different lane.
The injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment, while security forces arrived at the site and began investigating to determine the causes of the accident and regulate traffic which was briefly affected.
