Controversy in Hollywood After Actor Fired for Reporting Child Molester

Khaberni - American actor Steven Anthony Lawrence, one of the stars of the famous series "Even Stevens", has sparked a wide controversy after revealing that he was fired from his job at "Universal Hollywood" studios following his report of a person suspected of child molestation.

According to the "New York Post", 35-year-old Lawrence explained in a post on his Instagram account that he delayed sharing what happened for about a month, hoping for an amicable resolution, affirming that he loved his job very much and enjoyed performing and dancing with his colleagues. He said that his termination came as a "retaliatory action" after he reported a suspicious individual near the children inside the park.

The actor added, "With great sadness, I announce that my career with Universal Studios has ended, because the management did not seriously deal with my concerns regarding the safety of children," and continued by insisting that he cannot be associated with any entity that does not prioritize the safety of employees and visitors, emphasizing that what happened made him completely reconsider his trust in the place.

Lawrence's post received a wide response, where his former colleague in the series, Christy Carlson Romano, supported him, writing in the comments, "Well done, Steven,"

In contrast, a spokesperson for Universal Hollywood studios responded to these allegations, confirming that the company investigated the complaints made by the former employee, and it turned out, according to the statement, that they were "inaccurate and not based on correct facts."

He added that the company takes all employee reports seriously and has clear mechanisms for handling any concerns without subjecting the whistleblowers to any retaliatory actions. The case still generates wide engagement on social media, amid a division between supporters of the actor's story, those demanding more details, and those waiting for the results of any official investigations that may resolve the ongoing controversy.

It is worth noting that Steven Anthony Lawrence became famous for his role as "Bernard (Beans) Aranguren" in the series "Even Stevens" which was aired on Disney Channel between 2001 and 2003, and starred alongside Shia LaBeouf and Christy Carlson Romano. He later participated in several famous television works, including "That's So Raven" and "Frasier", in addition to appearing in several cinematic films.
