High school students continue their exams in computer science

Khaberni - General secondary students "Tawjihi" continue on Wednesday, the sixth day of exams, where students take exams in all branches with two sessions, morning and evening, according to the scheduled timetable.

According to the schedule, students from the scientific, literary, Islamic, industrial, agricultural, hospitality, and home economics branches take the computer science exam. During the evening session, literary branch students take the exam for the history of Arabs and the world, and hospitality students take the tourism and travel exam.

The director of the Examinations and Assessments Department at the Ministry of Education, Mohammad Shahadeh, assured that the exam questions will be from within the prescribed school curriculum and will consider the individual differences among students.

Shahadeh told "Al Mamlaka": "The exams will be balanced and suitable for the allocated time," indicating that the exams have been running smoothly and as planned since they started.

He explained that the first session of the exam starts at eleven in the morning, while the second session starts at two in the afternoon, confirming that all students will take the exams according to the approved editions of the textbooks for the academic year 2024/2025.

Shahadeh suggested that the results of the General Secondary Certificate "Tawjihi" for the supplementary session of the current year will be announced before the middle of next February.

 

This year, 131,381 students are participating in the supplementary Tawjihi exam, distributed among academic and vocational branches, comprising: Eleventh academic (37,437 students), Scientific (42,274 students), Literary (40,468 students), Islamic (116 students), Industrial (3,740 students), Agricultural (2,422 students), Hospitality (887 students), and Home Economics (4,037 students).

 

The exams are held in 529 examination centers distributed across various education directorates in the kingdom, with 42 backup halls, while the exam papers are corrected in 38 centers spread across the provinces.

 

It is planned that 140 students will be able to take exams in correctional and rehabilitation centers and juvenile centers, distributed across 15 rooms, in addition to the participation of 3 students at the King Hussein Cancer Center.

 

As for students with disabilities, 422 students participate in the exams, distributed across categories: the deaf (115 students), the blind (37 students), those with mobility disabilities (113 students), cerebral palsy (64 students), and the visually impaired (93 students).
